International Hospitality & Tourism Research Conference Switzerland 2010

HTMi learning culture requires students to have full access to a worldwide network of quality journals and books. Within the Hospitality Research Centre there is a network of Learning Resource Centres, each having an area for quiet research and learning and equipped with wireless internet and full access to the HTMi campus-wide intranet. Thus, students have full on-line access to more than 600 journals, 300 e-books and more than 50,000 articles written by eminent authors in hospitality research.

We are very pleased to announce the release of the Research Papers presented at the International Hospitality Research Conference Switzerland, May 2010. This Conference was student-led with MBA, BSc (Honours) and Higher Diploma students presenting papers on a variety of topics including: Employee Incentive Management; The Importance of Technology in Education; Gender Equality; Tourism in Antarctica and Job Crafting. Our international guests presented papers and workshops on topics which included: International Students; Reflections on the Research Process; Ensuring Effective Learning Outcomes from Internships and Reflecting on One’s Learning Opportunities.
